How far along? 24 weeks 6 days
Baby’s Size? An ear of corn, ha!, and weighing in around a pound and a half at 8 inches long.
Maternity clothes: This is one of my favorite outfits. The shirt is actually from my May Favorites and is a regular size, but the pants are maternity. I HAD to have white maternity jeans since I essentially live in these and maxi dresses in the summer.
Stretch marks? Nope. I stocked up on more of my favorite oil and it has been working wonders.
Sleep: Going well this week. I have learned that my energy is through. the. roof. in the morning (as in 5am) and I start to come down around 2pm and am asleep by 9pm. I’ve had to rearrange my day to accommodate my early morning energy and total lack of ability to even move in the afternoons, but, it’s working for now.
Best moment this week: Working on the nursery!
Miss anything? Not really miss, but I do find it so odd to look down and see my round belly. My stomach has never been a problem area. All of my life it has been flat and my abs have been visible with little to no effort. But now I can see it round and growing. It’s so odd, yet really neat!
Movement: Lots of movement, today in particular Baby G felt very low down almost at the bottom of my belly. Phil has been able to feel some bumps and movement, too!
Food cravings: Pickles, iced decaf coffee is back in a serious way!!! I want an iced decaf nonfat latte every day.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Thank god, no! For the first time in this entire pregnancy I actually feel really good outside of the lack of energy.
Labor signs: Nope!
Symptoms: Shortness of breath. Something that has been around all pregnancy and has put a big damper on my workouts.
Workouts: Overall a decent week. I got in a few runs and went back to yoga after two weeks off. I am learning to do what I can and accept the times that I am simply too tired or too busy. Believe me, this will be a long, hard lesson to learn.
Belly button in or out? In but I think it wants to come out.
Wedding rings on or off? On!
Happy or moody most of the time? Happy!
Looking forward to: My baby shower is the next big thing on our calendar! I am so excited to celebrate with all of my friends and family.
