How far along? 21 weeks 6 days
Maternity clothes? Same as last week. Most of my bottoms are maternity. I still wear some baggy tees that fit just fine and a few dresses are working for the time being. But the bump is definitely starting to grow.
Stretch marks?: No, still lathering up with my oil and lotions.
Sleep: Not as great this week. I have been sleeping at least eight hours, but this week I was averaging six. It was no bueno.
Best moment this week: Feeling the baby move!
Miss anything?: Wine. Oh lord. But bless my sister who snagged some sparkling grape juice to tide me over.
Movement: YES! I finally felt the baby move on Thursday and have felt movement ever since.
Food cravings: Still craving my fruit, big salads at lunch and pretzels with mustard.
Anything making you queasy or sick: No, which I am so grateful for.
Gender: We will know in 18 weeks!
Symptoms: A little bit of lower back pain, otherwise doing great!
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy…unless I go too long without food. Boy, oh boy, when my blood sugar dips it is not pretty.
Looking forward to: Starting on the nursery. We are going to start this weekend!
Purchases: One body suit that was way too cute to pass up.
Workouts: Still getting in my workouts. I have been averaging 4-6 times a week with a mix of cardio and toning. I also like to get in a few walks with Henry and try to practice yoga once a week. Doing so makes my body feel so much better!
Thoughts/Feelings/Random Musings: This week was pretty quiet and then on Thursday I felt the baby move! I wasn’t sure at first, but one of the benefits of having my sister around is being able to ask her tons of questions. When I described the feeling, she confirmed, yes that is the baby! Over the last few days I have been more in tune and have felt so many little bubbles, flutters and drops. I’m loving it.
