Morning friends and happy February! January was filled with sickness, so I’m looking forward to a fresh new month. Today I’m sharing my favorite things for the week.
I am looking forward to this weekend as my family is in town we have some fun plans and will be watching the Super Bowl. Anyone have a fun party plans?

I think we can all profess our love for the Target $1 section of the store. But my live has increased since having Mitch and finding some great learning games. I’ve picked up a few matching game puzzles and opposite cards. He absolutely loves them and I’m only out a few dollars. We keep the puzzles in cars, diaper bags, game bins – everywhere!
Phil gifted me a Yeti for Christmas and I have to admit, was a bit underwhelmed when I unwrapped the gift. A to-go mug? And then I used it. And then I fell in love. The end.
Just kidding. OK, so have likely heard the hype of this super insulated cup that keeps your hot beverages well, hot and cold, you guessed it, cold. One of my major issues living in Michigan is, my coffee is cold within 15 minutes no matter the vessel I use. But the Yeti seriously keeps your coffee hot for hours – it is amazing. I brew delicious coffee and take it to go every morning. My wallet is thanking me every day.
I also have the cold cup lid and straw, which is my morning smoothie’s best friend! The summer will have nothing on me.
My workouts have evolved over the years from competitive figure skating to spinning to yoga to racing. But, as a working mom who’s free time is few and far between, my sweat sessions during the week are short and sweet. Sarah’s video is the perfect full-body workout that will get you in all of the right places. Incorporating cardio and weights also gives you the biggest bang for your buck, so you can be in and out in half of the time.
After a search on my blog, I realized I have not shared these amazing sheet masks for your face and eyes. They are soooo good. Two years ago, I snagged a pack to try a few and I was instantly hooked. The masks come in a variety of formulas to target just what your skin needs. My favorite face masks are the Pearl and Orchid and the Lotus for my eyes (anything that helps add moisture!). The masks are really affordable at $5 each and a great treat to pamper yourself while catching up on Scandal. I can attest that wine can still be enjoyed while wearing a mask. 🙂
And with that, I am off to wrap up this week at work. I hope you all have a great weekend!
