Good morning, friends!
I hope you have all survived the week and are looking forward to a fun or relaxing weekend. We have a little of both on the agenda. But I have to say, while vacation is fantastic, coming back is tough. What makes it even more so is trying to get a toddler back on schedule. For nine days we soaked in the sun, fun and family with very late nights and little schedule. Every day was tough getting up and going. Poor Mitch, I think he is really ready for the weekend!
Before we jump into the weekend, let’s talk about all of the things that I am loving this week. Be sure to share your favorites below, too!
Lori’s Natural Northern Hummus
Now hear me out, Lori’s is no ordinary hummus. I discovered it years ago when I was home in Traverse City at one of our local specialty shops and have been in love ever since. The texture and flavor are unlike any other hummus I have ever tried. First, the hummus is made of all natural ingredients – nothing but good stuff here. The texture is thick and chunky in the best way possible. And the flavor is unbelievable, like you are eating a red pepper, not some faint flavor of one as other brands taste. When we were on vacation I snacked on some at my parent’s and then grabbed a tub to take home. I seriously would have bought a dozen if there would have been more than one lone hummus container left when I shopped on Sunday. And you can order the hummus online!
Since becoming pregnant, I am all about the drinks. You will see me with two to four cups/glasses/bottles of water, tea, La Croix, etc. near me at all times. Bring on the hydration! When at Starbucks, I stick with my unsweetened passion ice tea or coffee. But this week, my favorite baristas told me about the new infused teas and gave me a taste of the peach white tea – you guys, it is goooood! Slightly sweet and super fresh and refreshing. Today you can score a free tall from 1-2pm EST. There are a few new flavors like Strawberry Green Tea that sounds super good, too!
You have heard me sing the praises of Coola before, but you guys, you have to try this sunblock. It is so, so good. I used it through my entire trip, which included a ton of time outside, and never got pink or burned. The product is super easy to apply, smells amazing and delivers serious production. Every day Phil told me how good I smelled after I put on the product. None of the standard sunscreen smell, just fresh and fruity. So good!
It is the most wonderful time of the year! Ha, just kidding. But, if you are looking to find amazing (and I mean AH-MAZE-ING) deals on new fall and winter clothes. So, you score new items, not items from last year that are now on sale. Cool, right? While I am not purchasing a ton for myself as the bump will be large and in charge for the next three and a half months, I am grabbing a few shoes, items for M (like his favorite kicks), work items for Phil and my favorite leggings (<–only $30!!). I do have my eye on a few great beauty and make-up items, too. If you want a full round-up of what I bought (and what I am likely to snag this weekend) next week, let me know!
What is one thing you are loving this week? Any must-haves from the sale?
OK, with that I am off!
I hope you all have a great Friday. I will be back tomorrow with my pregnancy update!
