Good morning, friends and happy Friday! I’m off for a long weekend trip with the boys – we’ll be loading the car and hitting the road when this post goes live. The excitement has powered me through this week. It’s been quite a while since we’ve been on vacation, and I’m more than ready to kick back and relax.
But before I get ahead of myself, here are some of my favorites from the week!
The Lion King Musical
Last week my girlfriends met up for dinner and a show, the perfect Tuesday night. The Lion King animated movie is a favorite for many, and the musical does not disappoint. I saw the show a few years back and it was even better than I remember. The colors, music and sheer talent are breathtaking.
Mango La Croix
Eek! La Croix holds a special place in my heart. But the mango flavor may take the cake. The taste is strong but not overpowering and super refreshing.
Bronzer can be tricky – you don’t want to look too orange or too brown and muddy. Especially in the winter, finding a nice product to warm-up the face is my goal, not to appear that I spent three months in the Carribean (thought that would be ok, too). My friend told me about Too Faced bronzers and I have to say, this product is the perfect way to add a subtle contour and touch of color to your face. I use a big brush and lightly swirl the two colors together for a perfect shade. And don’t worry, the product has a shimmer, but it doesn’t transfer to the face.
Blissful Eats Granola (Paleo and GF)
Life changing. I was sent a sweet little package from BE and couldn’t help but dig into the granola. Handfuls later, I am addicted. The mix is perfectly crunchy, hardy and slightly sweet. Everything you want in a granola without a ton of additives or carbs (if that is something you watch). For me, I’m all about clean products that taste good, and granola is my holy grail this week.
If you’ve been around here lately, you know I have a deep love for OTF. The workouts are effective and fun – you can’t beat it. But, getting to a class can be a challenge if you aren’t near one. Julie created an at-home version of the experience that you can do about anywhere. I’m definitely adding this into my routine this weekend while we’re in Chicago.
With that, I’m off for a relaxing long weekend! Hope you have a great one, too!
What are you loving this week? What musicals have you seen? Favorite La Croix flavor?
