Baby Guster is 32weeks and six days and the size of a head of lettuce.
Picture from my sister-in-law Nichole’s baby shower yesterday!
Here’s what Baby Guster has been up to this week:
- Measuring over 19 inches long and weighs 4 pounds roughly.
- In the past few weeks baby has been practicing swallowing, breathing, kicking and sucking – getting ready for the big debut!
And here’s what’s been happening with me this past week:
Maternity Clothes: Nothing new.
Workouts: Still moving as much as possible. Some days it is a run, others a walk with Mr. H and lots of weights. I have changed my mentality of working out from the number of days a week to focusing on what I can do each day.
On Saturday, I went with my sister’s family and friends to the Sleeping Bear Dunes and climbed to the top! Not an easy feat with the bump, but I felt great and love staying active.
Stretch marks? No. Thank goodness for good genes or maybe my oils are working?!
Symptoms: Felt wonderful this week! No back aches, no headaches. But boy does my body get tired at the end of the night.
Sleep: I’m still clocking in seven hours of uninterrupted sleep. And the naps are back. I took one almost every day this week.
Movement: Lots and lots of movement. But it doesn’t startle me as much anymore and I just talk to Baby Guster and rub my belly.
Best Moment this Week: Celebrating my sister-in-law at her baby shower on Saturday!
Food Cravings: No cravings, just got my appetite back this week. Finally able to eat normal food and normal amounts.
Miss Anything? Honestly, no. Sure a glass of wine would be nice, but I know how close I am to delivery and am really enjoying the time I have being pregnant. It is such a small window of my life.
Belly Button In or Out? In unless the kid is sitting low and then it pushes out. Ha.
Happy or Moody Most of the Time: Happy
New Baby Items: This week was all about prepping the baby’s room. We ordered our custom closet for the nursery, installed the car seat, monitor and set up the bookshelf.
Looking Forward To: The weekend with my family and celebrating Nichole at her baby shower.
Random Thoughts and Musings: On Friday night I was talking to Nichole, who is due two weeks before me, about how quickly the pregnancy is coming to an end. It seems so sureal. I have been waiting to meet this little one and my nephew and now we are in the final countdown to their arrival. I am so excited and curious to see when we deliver, what both babies will look like, and of course, what we are having!!
