How is everyone doing today? Last week I shared my struggle to grab breakfast in the morning. And to be honest, I have been struggling with food – as in packing meals and getting out the door. Mainly my routine; no more yoga pants. My routine is so different now that I head into an office (the option of walking to my refrigerator at any given time is no longer an option).
Right now I am keeping it easy. Both in the clothes and food department. I subscribe to the thought that classics never go out of style – you just have to punch them up with fun accessories. (And yes, I am referring to jewelry and food here.)
Oatmeal is always a great option (overnight oats always win), a piece of fruit with nut butter or a healthy breakfast bar, but a simple slice of toast has been a recent favorite. Top with avocado, tomato and crushed red pepper or go sweet with a nut butter and sliced fruit. Easy, delicious, satisfied.
