Good morning, friends. How was your Valentine’s Day? Mine started on a sweaty note with a good workout – no better way, right?! When I came home, the boys were up and at ’em. We dug into breakfast and a few little gifts.
Phil brought me stunning deep pink long stem roses and Nespresso pods. Seriously, my soul mate.
After breakfast, we moved along with our days per usual. I dropped Mitch at school and when we arrived were greeted by a sea of red two-year-olds. His class had a Valentine’s Day party, so we all brought in food and of course valentine cards. What a trip!
I received some sweet treats at work, but am trying to cut out sugar this week so I passed them along to my coworkers. What a week to decide to cut out sugar, right? I think Halloween or Christmas would be the only other days where it may be a struggle over all of the cute pink, red and white sugary treats.
After all of the sugar I am sure Mitch had through the day, he ended on an active note at his first swim lesson.
Unfortunately, traffic was not on my side and I arrived just as the guys were exiting the water. But Phil said Mitch jumped right in, went under several times and was smiling ear-to-ear the whole time.
It was a long, sweet, and fun day for sure.
